Q: How do we book our wedding?
A: Select a date and a time.Then contact Michael for availability by phone 1.305.292.2292 or thru our reservations page. Once your ceremony has been confirmed by Michael, a non refundable 50% deposit is required with the balance due 30 days prior to the ceremony date. Your confirmation will include a summary of the details including our terms and conditions.
Q: Do i need a license first?
A: Your Florida marriage license is valid only for sixty days following it's issue Do not purchase your license more than sixty days before your ceremony. Most couples get the license immediately after their arrival in Key West. Please allow sufficient time for any unforeseen travel delays before the ceremony. Out of state residents are not required to wait, they can obtain the license and marry on the same day.
Florida residents must wait three days after obtaining a marriage license.
Q: Is a license required for a renewal of vows or commitment ceremony?
A: No. These ceremonies are not registered with the State of Florida, and therefore do not require a license. Michael does provide a souvenir copy of your vows and a Holy Union Certificate.
The City of Key West offers upon request a commitment proclamation.
Q: If we book Michael's services, may I select a location for our ceremony after our arrival?
A: Yes. For smaller ceremonies couples frequently do this. Pending availability, anything is possible.
Public locations can not be reserved. You may be sharing your selected location with it's soft white sand and blue green water with other couples.
